Wistful Dreams Studio

This is Pickles, a resin bust sculpted by my good friend Kelly Savage, who resides in the UK, and handpainted hair by hair by me—the first time I have attempted to paint like this. Kelly donated this resin to TIBBP, and I took him to NWC to see how he would do in the new MECCA class—a new class designed to help artists and sculptors better their work. At NW Congress this year they were there just to introduce their class to the Northwest, so there was no real "winner" per-say; several people got together and judged the item on its merits: sculpture, paintwork, etc. And they provided a score card and comments to help you improve your work. Here is a pic of him with his scorecard! Pickles went on to help real horses in need with his sale through The International Blessed Broodmare Project.
