This little Stablemate Breyer is the Old Mold Arabian Stallion, who came to me with 2 broken front legs. He had the pieces to his legs, so I drilled teeny tiny holes, glued in pins, then Apoxied over the joins to make him new all over again. He was a commission (one of my last ones, thankfully) for Laura Hamn of Dreamdust Studios to showcase her beautiful Stablemate Arabian Costumes. He has a new sculpted split mane, forelock, tail, stallion parts, and has had ears, nostrils, jaws and heel bulbs carved. He was handpainted in acrylics to this snowy white, with very minimal greying. I have to say, painting a white (technically grey!) horse is the MOST difficult color to paint! He kept wanting more grey, and I had to insist he stay white per his new owner's request! He has 5-colored eyes, pasteled grey detailing, and pasteled grey hooves. He has been named "Skowronek" by Laura after the famous Arabian Stud. Sold in June 2005 to Laura Hamn of Colorado.
