Wistful Dreams Studio

This is Breyer's Stablemate Running Thoroughbred Mare, with a little resculpting done by me. She has had her seams sanded, logo removed, ears, nostrils, jaws, heel bulbs and raised hooves carved, mane removed, new mane and added forelock (there is no forelock on this mold). Then, she was handpainted in acrylics into a bright Buckskin, with a narrow blaze. She is the first horse I have painted with NO socks! She has 5-colored eyes with pinking in corners, and pastel-detailed hooves. She is a Christmas gift (yes, I am VERY late - made in March 2005 for Christmas 2004) for my son's Preschool Teacher. He picked the horse out of the body box, and looked through all my reference horse color photos, and picked this color. And, also, decided her gender. Thankfully for his teacher, I kept him from naming her, as he is on a Digimon kick, and everything ends in "mon".
