This is Linda York's Stablemate-sized "Abbi" Resin, resculpted only to a stallion from a mare. He got the usual resin prep work, with a little Apoxie added to his hooves for stability, and added stallion parts. He was then pasteled in 6 layers to a dapple grey. He has some issues, such as I forgot to blow the "dust" off from one round of pasteling (only my second pastel job!), so he has some grains of pastels in one of his first layers. This is noticeable in 3 areas: His right groin area, and both sides of his upper neck. He also has a pit in his left shoulder creases that I missed, which is very hard to see unless you are looking for it. But I fell in love with him as he is, so I did not strip him and start over. He then got his details done in acrylics, such as 5-colored eyes with pinking in corners, some highlights of white and grey painted into his mane and tail, and 3 white socks, with natural-colored pasteled hooves. His coolest features are the "lightning bolts" or "spiderwebbing" on his legs, and his left rear hoof which is bicolored, as well as his eyes. Sold to Erika in Maryland 4/05.
