This little handsome guy was created for Northwest Congress 2007. He will actually be auctioned or raffled at Northwest Congress in 2008 due to a little mishap with the box not making it to the show...hehe! He started life as Breyer's G2 Stablemate Cantering Foal. His seams were sanded; logo removed; ears, jaws, heel bulbs and hooves were carved; then I sculpted a new little tuft of forelock between his ears; and added little boy parts - including a little pooter shoot under his tail! He was primered and then handpainted in acrylics to this baby Black Thoroughbred Colt. He has a little base to help him keep from being knocked over on a show table, but he does not need it if things stay steady. He is not currently for sale; and I will update his new owner information next year when he finds himself in a new home. In the meantime, I plan to photo-show him as Midnight Gambol. |
