This is Molly and Quincy kicking up their heels when I went to visit them the end of June 2008. Aren't they beautiful? And to think they would have ended up going to slaughter and been eaten somewhere overseas had we not helped them find a home...sigh. What a shame that so many others do go to slaughter, because we cannot save them all. Consider donating to one of your local horse or animal shelters if you can--even $5 will go a long way. Who knows, your donation may just save a life. Ours saved two here. |
