Schleich really makes some nice molds of all types of animals; and the price is sure right on them, too. I picked up three of these little foxes to customize and have fun with for Props for Performance Scenes. Now that I am also photo-showing Dogs, I know there is a market for them for that, too. This was the first one I sculpted and painted up, and I donated him to Northwest Congress 2007. Sadly, Robin forgot to take him to the show with her, so he did not find a new home yet! He will be up for auction or raffled at NWC 2008, though!! Look for him there! I tried to remove all seams, then I resculpted his belly to cover up his logo with hair, and added male parts just to make him a little different. He was sanded quite a bit, then primered and handpainted in acrylics to a nice Red Fox male. He has reddish-yellow gold eyes, and cute individually-painted hairs in his ears...all in all a handsome little fellow! Not for sale. I will update this page when he finally gets a new home! |
