This adorable resin is Acorn, by Michael Lovejoy. He had a bad reaction to my primer when I got him, and he broke out in millions of teeny tiny bubbles. So, out came my Apoxie Sculpt, and the resculpting process began. I had to sculpt in the little hairs whenever I filled in an area, so there is a lot of texturing involved with this little guy. He was then handpainted in acrylics to this adorable little Baby Bay Clydesdale. He was purchased off eBay by Andrea Hofmann of Germany in 2006 - who named her Shiniqua. |
