Elvis

This little guy is aptly named "Elvis" - in that he is all flash! Elvis is from the Jumping Jack Resin by Candace Liddy. He was purchased by my friend Xavie, and I was asked to just remove his mane and tail and to sculpt new ones. He had a beautiful Bay paint job, but when I went to remove the mane, I found out this resin is the kind that is similar to fiberglass, in that it is very powdery. Apparently, this stuff is SO fine that the powder stuck to him and would not wash off! So, I was now committed to painting him as well! Xavie found a fantastic little LOUD Miniature Leopard Appaloosa Horse as a "model" for Elvis's new look, and away we went. So, Elvis sports not only a new mane, tail and forelock, but also has a beautiful new paint job! He was handpainted in acrylics, with SO much detail work involved, I had to show you lots of angles to see it all! He took 18 hours to paint! You can see his first NAN card here and here. He is currently NOT for sale. He is owned by Xavie Augenblick.
