For those of you who have been wondering what chestnuts are? They are growth knobs on the legs of horses, which this photo shows quite well on the inside of the rear leg. They are similar in feel to dog pads, but a little rougher. Just thought it would be fun to put that little tidbit of information here! Also, this is a shot of the detail I put into my hooves, even though they are not always visible! |
