Breyer Stablemate #5014 Old Mold Arabian Mare in Alabaster. When I purchased her, she had only 2 legs on an otherwise wonderful body. She has been resculpted with 2 new pin-reinforced Apoxie Sculpt legs, and has a new mane, forelock and swishy tail, which was removed from her leg, and now swishes up onto her right hip. She stands 3 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches long. Her seams and logo were removed, ears were carved and shaped on the outsides, so she has beautiful delicate ears, her jaw and heel bulbs were also carved. She was hand painted in a combination of acrylics and pastels, with many layers of dappling! She has pasteled mare parts, pasteled details on hooves, 5-colored eyes, painted-on chestnuts, and my initials (JFW 04) on her belly. She has 3 coats of protective Matte finish, glossed eyes, nostrils and hooves for realism. Sold to Tracy in South Carolina. |
