Sudden Impact

"Sudden Impact" is an amazing work of art. He used to be Breyer's Traditional Morganglanz Mold. Charlotte has transformed this horse into a stunning portrait of a Dressage horse doing a move called a Half Pass. This horse is extra special to me, because a few months ago, I asked Charlotte if she would take a commission to do a horse in this exact move. It is so beautiful, and flowing, and wonderful to watch, and in Dressage this is my favorite move. Charlotte said she did not know if she could do that, but would play with one of her body horses. I got to see this guy created from day one. She sent me updates, stating this was NOT my horse. This was a test model only. He went from the ugly duckling Morganglanz to this in a matter of days. I drooled as happens when you see these guys, and told her - despite him being a "test" model - I would pay big bucks for him! She never sells her horses until after she has live shown them SEVERAL times..so I knew it would be next year before I could get my hands on him. Well, I bought Kuhlbert from her; and when I opened Kulbert's box, I found this guy tucked in there, nice, neat, and WOW! I think she heard me screaming from Virginia!!! When I emailed her and asked her HOW MUCH...she graciously told me he was a gift...A GIFT!!!!! I just about fell over. So, with that said...Charlotte, you are my mentor, my idea bouncer, my "live shower", and best of all, my good friend. Thank you! I just love him! My friend Xavie had a Dressage Saddle set made for him (these are Christmas, Hannukah, Birthday, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, my Husbands Birthday, and three Christmas's worth of presents!), again by the talented Jeanne Myers of Idaho Outback Miniature Tack. See the next two pages for more about Sudden Impact!
