"Kick It Up" Breyer Stablemate Standing Thoroughbred Foal, resculpted into a Clydesdale draft colt. This guy was originally an Arab foal (first finished in July 2004), then a Welsh Foal, then a draft foal, due to his originally sculpted thick ankles! I decided to add feathering to him, and to make him an official draft foal, recently. His original work included carved ears, nostrils, and heel bulbs, seams sanded, logo removed, ears fuzzed with Apoxie, new nose sculpted, added foal parts, and hooves enlarged a bit. He was painted with acrylics by hand to a bay foal. The feathering was added March 2005, and he was repainted white. He showed on March 19th, 2005, at Let 'Er Buck Live in Pendleton Oregon as a Clydesdale foal, where he took 4th out of 10 in the draft/pony foal class, against all sizes including resins. See pages 6 & 7 for how he used to look before his feathering was added. Sold 4/05 to Jen of Ontario, Canada, where he is being shown as a Welsh Pony, Section C, named Caernarvon Bay. |
