Introducing "Leil Nisr" ("Night Eagle" in Arabic). Leil was created from Breyer's New Mold Classic Frolicking Foal. He has had his "blow" hole in the left side of his mouth filled in with Apoxie; a new hole drilled behind his privates between his rear legs; boy parts added; ears carved for more detail and then stuffed with Apoxie for the fuzzy foal look; heel bulbs, jaws and nostrils carved; old tail removed and a new, wire-reinforced tail sculpted; and a new mane and forelock sculpted. He was then handpainted in acrylics to this baby Black or Bay - at this age, it is hard to tell what they will shed out to be! He has 5-colored eyes, pinked muzzle with kissy spots, pastel-detailed hooves, and my initials (JFW 05) on his belly. This little boy was shown at Spokane Model Expo Live on October 22nd, 2005. He is owned by Kate G. of Prospect, Ohio. Update: Well, I hate to see my stuff up for sale, especially what I really really hated to sell in the first place! So, when this guy was up for sale for several months, I finally bought him back! Yes, kind of pointless to sell them and then buy them back, but hay! At least I got him cheaper than I sold him! HEE! This guy is part of my showstring and is NOT for sale. |
