Sunnyside's Rainbow Moon

"Sunnyside's Rainbow Moon" This is Breyer's Stablemate Shetland Pony, now a cantering Miniature Horse. She is a drastic resculpt (see picture 6 for the sad sight of her in progress). Since she was my second attempt at this, she went much faster, and actually got painted before her "sibling", Running Brave's Freckled Dream. She has: New neck, ears, joints, chest, muscling, hips, mare parts, forelock, mane and tail. All legs were pinned and neck and tail are wired for stability. She was then painted by hand in acrylics to almost a liver/bay Appaloosa. She has 5-colored eyes and pasteled detailed hooves. She is the first horse I have not painted a face marking on. She was commissioned by and is owned by Melissa Addison. To visit her site, click here. Thank you for the work, Melissa! And congratulations on your 8th place for her at Let 'Er Buck Live against all sizes including resins!
