These were purchased from TR Supply online. It is a taxidermy supply company, and I happen to buy my Apoxie Sculpt from them, too! They are a wax carving kit, but they work GREAT on Apoxie Sculpt, and are less likely to get damaged by the Apoxie since they are metal. I use them for smoothing in hard to reach areas (such as in the genitals...the one cupped end is great for doing stallion parts!), and for carving out detail in manes and tails with the sharp ends. You will see the right side tool is different! It is actually a very old (30+ years) walnut pick! I use that in hard to reach areas, as the tip has dulled over time, and is perfect for getting a nice smooth join in the Apoxie up under tails, etc! |
