Breyer bought out Creata's Line of Micro Mini Molds in 2005, and came out with Breyer Micro Mini Whinnies. This guy I THINK was a Creata QH when he started out with me. I am not sure, because the first photo I took of him was after I had him in primer...he was so small, I just forgot to do a photo log with him. He was my first "sculpting/carving" experiment with the dremel and the rubbery plastic these guys are made up of. He had his nostrils, jaws and heel bulbs carved; seams removed, ears removed and new ones sculpted with a new forelock; and his tail was cut shorter and thinned out, then had a slight bit of sculpting done to it. He was then handpainted in acrylics to this beautiful (and one of my best, I think) Chestnut Roan Appaloosa. He has lots of layers, lots of personality, and is one of those I wish I had kept for my show string. He was sold to Holly Carson on eBay in February of 2006. |
