This little guy is a Safari Toob Rearing Pony that I resculpted to a gelding; and I removed his logo on his belly and resculpted new belly hairs there. I then tried to paint my first Blue Roan—painted by hand in acrylics—complete with "Corn Spots," which are the areas of a roan that for some reason or other were de-haired (kick, bite, injury of some kind or other); the hair always grows in dark in those spots—sort of like bruising in corn. He really is NOT this blue—the digital camera does NOT like his color at all—but this first photo is the closest to his true color. He has the most amazing silvery grey eyes!! THOSE were captured in almost every photo! I named this little guy Psymon, in honor of my friend Lori's EX-PMU Stallion Psymbol. Psymbol is a very stocky draft cross Stallion (now gelded in 2010!) and is one of the most beautiful blue roan horses I have ever seen—next to Lori's OTHER EX-PMU Broodmare, Mooner! HEE! I have not even begun to capture the beauty of those two here, but it IS a start. Psymon is not for sale; he is part of my show string. Enjoy!
