This little filly is actually a mass-produced Resin by a Company called United Design. When I got first got her she was my only mass-produced Resin. I purchased her with the intent to customize her. I thought she was adorable to begin with; and, with a little sculpting, could be fantastic - and I was right. I first used the dremel to carve her cheek bone away from her leg, leaving only her muzzle touching. Then, I removed her original tail (see photo 8 for photos of her before work was done), glued in a wire, and resculpted a new tail. She had her face resculpted, ankles, raised hoof and heel bulbs carved, filly parts sculpted, her flanks smoothed out, and was then handpainted in acrylics to this beautiful baby Dun or Buckskin. She has 5-colored eyes, one white sock, pasteled details on hooves, and pastels used to blend in her dorsal stripe and back barring. She was sold on eBay to Ronni M. of California in May 2005. |
