Wychwood Stout

Wychwood Stout started life as a Schleich Clydesdale. He has his seams removed and logo sanded, and was then handpainted in acrylics to a Black Sabino Junior Shire Gelding with Red, White and Blue Ribbons. Shortly after I took all of Wychwood's Digital Show photos, he went through a few stages of a problem with his finish spray. I had originally hit him with a satin finish - and several weeks later his paint went tacky to the touch. I then sprayed him with Matte - and the problem got worse. He sat in my China hutch for several months until I finally heard about a possible solution to the tacky problem. I hit him with some of my Testors Dulcoat, which is a model Hobby spray. The Testors did the trick, and Wychwood is back in his show career. Wychwood Stout is part of my show string and is not for sale at this time.
