Boudin #2

Boudin #2 of 4 was one of the Mini Haggis resins that I purchased and donated to TIBBP. She was the third one completed, mainly because I had a problem with moving her front right leg--it looked great, but not natural, when I was all done sculpting--so I had to put her aside and finish 3 and 4 first; then I came back and fixed her leg. I should never have moved it in the first place...but that is how we learn!! In any case, by the time I got back to work on her, we found out that two PMU Broodmares who had been adopted had died up in Canada before they could get to their new adopted homes; Big and Black Alaska were two beautiful mares, and both were pregnant. Sadly, both Big and Black Alaska and their unborn foals were lost. I decided at that point to do a tribute to both mares. I combined their white markings, and Big Black Alaska was born. She is a beautiful shimmery black, with the golden highlights that true black horses get. She was purchased by Lisa W. of Australia, and is now living with her sister Boudin #1 who recently joined her and Mini Hagginas #5, #7 and #12. I have put photos up of her creation after her painted photos, if you care to look (see pages 9 through 13; and you can see photos of the real Big and Black Alaska beginning HERE.
