Heathecroft Glen

"Heathecroft Glen" is David Mayer's Trotting Shetland Pony Stallion Resin, in Little Bit size. He needed minimal prep work, and then was handpainted in acrylics to this black English Shetland, or Backyard Pony. He has a touch of bay in the right areas, but - all in all - looks black! He has a nice, wide white blaze with pinking on his nose, 5-colored eyes, detailed dirty horsey teeth, and a right rear sock. His hooves were detailed in pastels, and his eyes, nostrils and hooves were glossed for realism. His base was painted a sand color, and the rocks were also glossed. He has loads of character! He went to Breyerfest 2005 to spend his time with Vanessa of Horsing Around, who was his owner at the time. He was painted in exchange for my copy of this same resin, that is now Heathecroft Bracken. To see them together, go to page 9. Update, 10/05: Heathecroft Glen was sold at Breyerfest 2005 to his new loving owner, Tanya K. of New York. He is now known as "The Penny Pig". The Penny Pig recently won a NAN card at "Horsing Around At the Zoo" in Buffalo, New York, on August 22, 2005, where he finished 1st of 6 in the CM/AR Workmanship class. Congratulations to Tanya - and thank you for letting me know how he did!
