This beautiful gelding started life as a Schleich Clydesdale in Little Bit/Paddock Pal scale. He had his seams removed and logo sanded off, and then was primered and handpainted to this handsome Dapple Bay. This boy has it all! Mr. Worsley was created for a very talented lady and now good friend, Patty Jones of October Farms Tack. I won a Classic Western Set off eBay from this very talented woman (see her eBay site); and immediately upon receiving it, I contacted her to make an English set for my Wychwood Stout, who was created from this same Schleich mold. I sent her Mr. Worsley in his original condition (before makeover) as a model for Wychwood, and when she sent the complete set back I was amazed at all the little details she had incorporated into my set. So, we worked out a trade on another tack set, and Mr. Worsley came to life. I put my heart into Mr. Worsley and it paid off! He stormed the show ring at Northwest Congress in May of 2006, where he took 3rd of 13 in a Hunter/Jumper Class against Resins and Customs much larger than he - as well as taking 1st of 7 in Custom (CM) Mini Clydesdale Breed, CM Mini Draft Breed Champion, and 2nd of 21 in the Bay Color CM Mini Division. I now own four BEAUTIFUL tack sets by Patty Jones; you can see those here. Please visit Patty's Website for information on her tack! Thank you Patty Jones!! |
